This is our ‘Spring’ interest table. During investigations over the next few weeks students will have the option of using the table as inspiration to learn about things relating to spring. They might learn about seasons, life cycles, plants and animals or whatever their interests allow them to explore. What would you investigate?

Today we watched this video about a stubborn donkey. The story had no words but we could see visually what what going on. We responded to the video by recounting in writing what happened in the story.

How can we reduce waste in our school?

Waste is a big problem in the world today. Our class has been thinking about ways that we can reduce waste and keep the environment cleaner. We went through all the rubbish in our bin and found out that a lot of our rubbish comes from food wrappers. One way that we can reduce that waste is by having ‘nude food’ (food without disposable wrappers). Another great benefit of having ‘nude food’ lunches is that they are often healthier.
